Ongoing programs

We operate a food bank 3 weeks of every month for our clients and on an emergency basis 6 days a week. We provide food shower facilities and clothing to clients; and prepare income tax returns for clients. We provide food shower facilities and clothing to clients; and prepare income tax returns for clients. We provided Christmas Boxes to families in our area. We supported our local agricultural fair and our local garden club who provided us with fresh produce in the fall.

New programs

In 2024 we were able to provide two single mothers with financial assistant to allow them to keep or secure affordable housing. This is new for our organization as we do have more available funds. We provided building materials for a wheelchair ramp for resident of our community. The Legion provided a donated an electric wheelchair and members of the Kiwanas Club provided the expertise and labour. This allows the individual to continue to live independently at home.
