Ongoing programs

The Rosamunde Summer Music Academy ran from August 14th to 23rd at the Canadian Mennonite University. It attracted 58 students spread over the MiniRosie (elementary students) Core (junior & senior high students) and Rosamundiade (adult amateur) programs. The Core students attended for the full length of the camp while the MiniRosies attended from the 19th to 23rd Each group present chamber music and solo recitals at the end of their time at the camp. The Rosamunde Summer Music Academy ran from August 14th to 23rd at the Canadian Mennonite University. It attracted 58 students spread over the MiniRosie (elementary students) Core (junior & senior high students) and Rosamundiade (adult amateur) programs. The Core students attended for the full length of the camp while the MiniRosies attended from the 19th to 23rd Each group present chamber music and solo recitals at the end of their time at the camp. The groups received private lessons as well being involved in masterclasses and technique classes. They also worked with collaborative pianists and chamber music coaching from the faculty. The Rosamundiade chamber music experience ran in the evenings from the the 14th to the 19th with a concert on the 19th. The faculty included 16 Manitoba musicians primarily from the Winnipeg Symphony but with one teacher from Brandon and one from Portage La Prairie. There were also two guest artists from Toronto. The two guest artists along with some of the local artists performed in faculty concerts on the 20th and 22nd. Those concerts were open to the general public but admission was free for the Rosamunde students.
