Ongoing programs

Rocky Mountain Adaptive provides a variety of adaptive mountain sports and recreation activities year-round in the Canadian Rockies for persons with physical developmental and cognitive challenges and their families and friends. The headline program is alpine skiing and snowboarding including free 'Try It' camps to introduce newcomers to adaptive skiing and snowboarding; multi-week programs; private lessons; recreational racing; and a free ski buddy program. Rocky Mountain Adaptive provides a variety of adaptive mountain sports and recreation activities year-round in the Canadian Rockies for persons with physical developmental and cognitive challenges and their families and friends. The summer program includes paddling cycling and mountain biking hiking tennis golf wall climbing fishing baseball and wilderness camps in conjunction with Alberta Parks at William Watson Lodge. A gymnastics program is run in conjunction with local schools to introduce children to adaptive sports and recreation activities.
