Ongoing programs
OUR FOCUS IS PROVIDING RESCUE TO DOGS AND CATS IN BOTH RURAL AND URBAN AREAS. WE HAVE A SPAY AND NEUTER PROGRAM WHICH WE MAKE AVAILABLE TO MEMEBERS OF THE COMMUNITY THAT ARE IN NEED OF ASSISTANCE TO CARE FOR THEIR PETS. WE BRING IN STRAY ABANDONED AND SURRENDERED ANIMALS INTO OUR CARE. ONCE IN CARE THE ANIMALS ARE PROVIDED WITH ALL NECESSARY VETTING AND THEN ADOPTED INTO LOVING HOMES. THE VAST MAJORITY OF OUR FUNDS ARE SPENT ON PROVIDING THE NECESSARY VET CARE TO OUR CATS AND DOGS.

WE CONTINUE TO EXPAND OUR SPAY AND NEUTER INITIATIVE AS WELL AS PROVIDE COMMUNITY SUPPORT TO INCLUDE ASSISTANCE TO INDIVIDUALS THAT DO NOT HAVE THE NECESSARY FUNDS TO PROVIDE THEIR PET WITH NECESSARY VETERINARIAN CARE IN EMERGENCY SITUATIONS. WE ARE ALSO HOPEFUL THAT WE CAN CREATE A PROGRAM FOR PET GUARDIANS THAT ARE LEAVING DOMESTIC ABUSE SITUATIONS WHEREIN WE WILL PROVIDE TEMPORARY CARE FOR THEIR PETS WHILE THEY RELOCATE TO A SAFE PLACE. WE WOULD LIKE TO BE ABLE TO ENSURING THAT OUR VOLUNTEERS HAVE ACCESS TO AND ARE ABLE TO RECEIVE THE MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT THAT MAY BE REQUIRED IN ORDER TO… Show more
