SANGAM SENIOR CITIZEN ASSOCIATION OF BC

1. To advance education by providing seminars conferences and lectures to seniors on the subjects of bring proactive with one's healthcare and healthy living. 2. To advance religion by practicing the teachings religious tenets doctrines and observances associated with Hinduism. 3. To carry out activities which are incidental and ancillary to the attainment of above charitable purposes. The Sangam Senior Citizen Association held functions in alignment with our ongoing programs as noted above. We held held various religious and health and wellness programs for anyone wishing to attend. The programs were open to all members of the community and was well attended. The programs included a religious program at the Yoga Hanuman Temple to foster unity understanding and a shared appreciation of Hindu traditions and culture. As well we celebrated the auspicious Diwali prayers symbolizing triumph of light over darkness. This allowed the association to contribute to the spiritual well-being of our community. It was a moment to highlight cultural and religious programs that enrich diversity of our community. The association was also busy organizing health and wellness programs for our community. These included General Medical Prevention and Treatment; Hearing Loss prevention and treatment; EyeCare - Importance of Regular Checkup. The events were dedicated to promoting health and wellness focused on healthy eating habits and making informed dietary choices.
