Ongoing programs

ONGOING PROGRAMS CONSISTS OF RESCUING STRAY ABANDONED AND ABUSED CATS AND DOGS AND PLACING THEM IN PERMANENT HOMES. THE ANIMALS THAT DON'T GET ADOPTED EITHER BECAUSE OF MEDICAL OR BEHAVIORAL ISSUES REMAIN IN OUR CAR FOR THE REST OF THEIR LIVES. VOLUNTEERS HELP BY PROVIDING ONGOING CARE EITHER BY FOSTERING DIRECT CARE OF THE ANIMALS IN THEIR HOME OR THEY HELP WITH THE FEEDING AND CLEANING AND CLEANING AT THE SHELTER.

ONE OF THE PROGRAMS THAT WE IMPLEMENTED WAS TO FURTHER EXTEND OUR PROGRAM HELP WITH YOUR PET FOR SENIORS. MANY SENIOR WITH MOBILITY ISSUES HAVE DIFFICULTY TAKING THEIR PET TO THE VETERINARIAN. VOLUNTEERS THAT LIVE IN THE SAME VICINITY AS THE SENIOR VOLUNTEER THEIR TIME TO DRIVE THE SENIOR TO THE APPOINTMENT AND TAKE THEM HOME. THIS PROGRAM IS OFFERED TO SENIORS WHO HAVE LIMITED RESOURCES AND MOBILITY ISSUES. MOVIE NIGHT WITH YOUR PET IS ANOTHER ENW PROGRAM THAT WE IMPLEMENTED TO KEEP VOLUNTEERS ENGAGED WITH THE CHARITY. IT'S A FUN SOCIAL GATHERING WHERE WE CAN KEEP THE VOLUNTEERS ENGAGED WITH THE ORGANIZATION.
