Ongoing programs
The Edmonton Poetry Festival Society produces an annual poetry festival in Edmonton Alberta. The 2024 festival (April 21-28) was a fully in-person program and featured 17 events with more than 45 poets performing along with workshops and open mics. Also we partnered with other organizations to put on half a dozen special events during the year including book launches and open mic events.
New programs
We also began an new initiative with an outside agency aimed at improving access for differently abled people to participate in the festival.
