THE VANCOUVER POETRY HOUSE SOCIETY OPERATES A POETRY SERIES (VANCOUVER POETRY SLAM) A POETS IN SCHOOLS PROGRAM (WORDPLAY) AN ANNUAL YOUTH POETRY FESTIVAL (HULLABALOO) AND A PROFESSIONAL POETRY FESTIVAL (VERSES FESTIVAL OF WORDS). VOLUNTEERS FILL VITAL FRONT-OF-HOUSE AND PRODUCTION ROLLS AT VANCOUVER POETRY HOUSE. EACH WEEK VOLUNTEERS ASSIST WITH OUR BOX OFFICE AND HYBRID PRODUCTION. THESE VOLUNTEERS DEVELOP SKILLS THAT MAKE THEIR WORK OUTSTANDING AT OUR ANNUAL FESTIVAL.
