What it does — in its own words
Ongoing programs
We respond 24/7 to search for and rescue missing and injured persons in both wilderness and urban settings. We also recover deceased persons from wilderness and technically dangerous locations. In the event of major disasters we would be called to assist. We train weekly to maintain our skills and require significant rescue equipment to respond effectively and safely. Our public education programs include how to survive if lost. All of our members are volunteer; we have no paid employees.
