Le mardi matin nous accompagnons les enfants et leur famille qui sont traités en oncologie ainsi que certains jeunes aux prises avec une maladie chronique nécessitant des traitements réguliers (certain depuis leur naissance!) Les mercredis matin nous visitons les chambres pour les enfants hospitalisés et leur famille. La Clinique de Tyrosinémie a demandé notre présence quelques matins par année car plusieurs jeunes sont terrorisés par les aiguilles. PÉDIATRIE - Nous poursuivons nos visites en pédiatrie deux matins par semaine. Le mardi matin nous accompagnons les enfants et leur famille qui sont traités en oncologie ainsi que certains jeunes aux prises avec une maladie chronique nécessitant des traitements réguliers (certain depuis leur naissance!) Les mercredis matin nous visitons les chambres pour les enfants hospitalisés et leur famille. La Clinique de Tyrosinémie a demandé notre présence quelques matins par année car plusieurs jeunes sont terrorisés par les aiguilles. Nous avons donc pu dédramatiser les soins administrés par le personnel soignant. CHSLD - Nous sommes toujours présents dans les 9 CHSLD du Saguenay ainsi que dans un centre privé subventionné. Nous y faisons des rencontres personnalisées selon les besoins du moment présent. Nous faisons également beaucoup d’accompagnements en fin de vie surtout avec les familles présentes dans le but de créer un dernier moment plus léger et poétique. SOINS PALLIATIFS - Nous avons une belle collaboration avec la Maison des Soins Palliatifs du Saguenay. Nous y allons les vendredis matin et l’accueil est plus que positif par les résidents leur famille et le personnel. Nos interventions sont appréciées et toujours pertinentes. Nous avons réussi à y créer plusieurs moments extraordinaires y laissant même une trace unique qui fait une grande différence dans ce lieu de fin de vie. SANTÉ MENTALE - Nous poursuivons nos visites au centre de jour en santé mentale Le Phare à La Baie. Nous sommes toujours extrêmement heureux de constater les bienfaits de nos rencontres avec ces adultes.

PÉDOPSYCHIATRIE - Un nouveau programme en pédopsychiatrie débutera à l’Hôpital de Chicoutimi à l’automne 2025. Il s’agit d’un environnement qui bien que stimulant et exigeant offre de nombreuses perspectives prometteuses. Nous sommes très heureux de pouvoir enfin concrétiser ce programme que nous souhaitions mettre en place depuis plusieurs années.
