NOTICES ARE PLACED ON OUR WEBSITE ON LOCAL WEBSITE AND POSTED ON ANNOUNCEMENT BOARDS THROUGH THE BRUCE COUNTRY LIBRARY SYSTEM. WE OFFER A SEVEN WEEK INTRODUCTORY GENEALOGY COURSE TO THE PUBLIC IN THE AUTUMN MONTHS. WE PROVIDE VOLUNTEERS TO ASSIST WITH RESEARCH IN THE RESEARCH ROOM OF THE BRUCE COUNTY ARCHIVES. WE CONDUCT RESEARCH TO ANSWER QUESTIONS FROM PEOPLE REGARDING FAMILY HISTORY. WE TRANSCRIBE TOMBSTONE INFORMATION IN BRUCE COUNTY CEMETERIES AND PHOTOGRAPH TOMBSTONES FOR INCLUSION IN CEMETERY WEBSITES. WE PURCHASE GENEALOGICAL MATERIALS ( MICROFILMS WEBSITE SUBSCRIPTIONS ETC) FOR PUBLIC USE AT THE BRUCE COUNTY ARCHIVES. WE PROMOTE GENEALOGY AT LOCAL EVENTS LIKE HERITAGE FAIRS FALL FAIRS PLOWING MATCHES ETC. WE PRINT FAMILY HISTORY FORMS FOR CHILDREN (APPLE FAMILY TREES) WHICH WE DISTRIBUTE AT LOCAL EVENTS AT THE BRUCE COUNTY ARCHIVES. WE ARE IN THE PROCESS OF SCANNING AND DIGITIZING SOME OF OUR RESEARCH MATERIALS WE HAVE POSTED OUR CEMETERY RESTORATION VIDEO ON OUR WEBSITE WHICH IS AVAILABLE FOR PUBLIC VIEWING. WE HAVE POSTED SOME OUR RESEARCH MATERIALS ON OUR WEBSITE WE HAVE STARTED A PILOT PROJECT TO CLEAN TOMBSTONES IN SOME OF OUR CEMETERIES IN BRUCE COUNTY.
