The cost of renting the facility is kept affordable due to the unpaid labor of the volunteers and donations and grants received.

The Lions Club has held its' annual Turkey dinner in the facility and will continue to rent it for future events. The facility has been rented to the community on a regular basis. The rentals continue to increase. New programs such as seminars on gardening during drought and some music recitals have been added. As we are a remote community without amenities the residents enjoy breakfasts and dinners that are put on during the year. Donations were used to add enhancements to the equipment available for use to our patrons. We were able to purchase and install new sound equipment projector and laptop. 2024 saw the addition of more storage room to the community center. This was urgently needed for safety of the equipment as well as the safety of those accessing the equipment.
