The programs are aimed at increasing the public's awareness understanding and respect of the natural environment and many programs include park stewardship activities like removal of invasive species and the planting of native plants to restore the unique and rare habitat in High Park. Over this reporting period we had 251 volunteers that supported our programs by providing additional supervision to our groups and working with our staff. This is done through preparing planning and delivering our programs with our staff.
