FORWARD IN FAITH CHRISTIAN MINISTRIES INTERNATIONAL (ALBERTA)

Forward In Faith Christian Ministries International (Alberta) continued to advance its charitable mission throughout 2024 by delivering a wide range of faith-based and community-oriented programs. These ongoing programs were led by volunteers ministry leaders and church members and directly supported the organization’s objectives of spiritual growth community engagement and holistic development. Children’s Ministry: Weekly Sunday school classes provided biblical education to children aged 3–14 using interactive materials and age-appropriate teaching methods. Seasonal events such as Christmas and Easter plays helped children understand Christian values in engaging and creative ways. Attendance ranged from 15 to 25 children weekly supported by five volunteer teachers. Youth Ministry: Weekly Friday evening Bible study and fellowship sessions focused on discipleship character development and leadership skills for youth aged 15–25. Organized quarterly outreach and recreational events (e.g. sports day movie nights) to build relationships and foster a sense of belonging. Youth were encouraged to volunteer within other ministries to build responsibility and spiritual maturity. Women’s Ministry: Bi-weekly prayer meetings and monthly Bible study sessions focused on women’s spiritual development mental health and family leadership roles. Special events included Mother’s Day celebrations wellness workshops and empowerment seminars. Men’s Ministry: Monthly men’s fellowship breakfasts and discipleship programs addressed topics such as spiritual leadership fatherhood and financial stewardship. Community service projects encouraged men to give back through volunteer maintenance work and outreach to families in need. Family Support Services: Offered marital counseling pre-marital guidance and parenting support through one-on-one sessions and group workshops. Supported over 10 families during times of crisis through spiritual counseling meals and prayer. Weekly Worship Services and Prayer Meetings: Conducted regular Sunday worship services Wednesday Bible study and Friday night prayer meetings attended by members of all ages. These services were foundational to the church’s mission.

In response to the growing needs of the congregation and community the charity launched two new programs in 2024 that further advanced its spiritual and leadership development objectives: Leadership Conference: A new annual event held in summer 2024 attended by over 50 church leaders volunteers and invited guests. Focused on building effective ministry leadership skills governance awareness and ethical service within the church context. Featured workshops on conflict resolution servant leadership volunteer coordination and strategic planning. Delivered by both internal and external speakers with expertise in faith-based leadership. Family Conferences: A new initiative was launched in fall 2024 aimed at strengthening family units through Christian teachings and counseling. Included seminars on parenting financial planning communication within marriage and raising children in faith. Designed as a multi-day retreat-style program with over 20 families participating supported by professional counselors and clergy.
