ENCOURAGE AND SEEK VOLUNTEERS TO PARTICIPATE IN ANY & ALL OF OUR ACTIVITIES AS WELL AS OUR BOARD; TO MAINTAIN COMMUNITY GARDENS; TO ORGANIZE AND EXECUTE AN ANNUAL SPRING CLEAN-UP; TO GENERATE ENOUGH FUNDS TO PLANT TREES AND OTHER INDIGENOUS PLANTS ALONG THE GREENWAY; TO WORK WITH OTHER COMMUNITY GROUPS IN MAINTAINING THE GREENWAY

WE CONTINUALLY SEEK ADDITIONAL FUNDING AND USE SUCH FUNDS FOR OUR URBAN FOOD FOREST. FOOD FORESTS ARE SMALL SCALE GARDENS THAT INCORPORATE PRINCIPLES OF REGENERATIVE AGRICULTURE TO MIMIC NATURAL PROCESSES. FOOD FORESTS BUILD HEALTHY SOILS SORE WATER AND FEED & SHELTER ANIMALS YEAR AFTER YEAR ALL WITH MINIMAL MAINTENANCE (UNLIKE CONVENTIONAL GARDENS WHICH NEED REGULAR WEEDING AND WATERING).
