Ongoing programs
The Kinsmen Club of Lindsay collects sorts and distributes toys to children of low income families at Christmas time each year. 'Kinsmen Toy Drive'. We service the City of Kawartha Lakes area. Besides collecting toys through our Blue Toy Barrel program we accept donations that are used towards the purchase of toys and related costs to operate the Toy Drive. From donations received separate from Toy Drive we support several local charities and organizations. The Kinsmen Club and supporters are all volunteer's. We continue to assist in the community with service related projects when possible. Besides the annual Toy Drive we also provide community service in areas such as Touch a Truck Food Banks Day of Kindness etc. as well several volenteere service projects to better the community. We were very fortunate in the past couple years to of had record sucess in the Kinsmen Super TV Bingo allowing us to provide even more support to local charities. We are very open to providing volenteer opportunitys for anyone interested.
