ORGANIZATION OPERATES A CRIME STOPPER BOARD IN THE PEMBROKE/RENFREW COUNTY AREA. THE PURPOSE OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO FURNISH THE POLICE SERVICE WITH SPECIFIC INFORMATION PERTAINING TO UNSOLVED CRIMES AND CRIMINAL ACTIVITIES THAT HAVE REMAINED UNSOLVED THROUGH NORMAL METHODS. IN ADDITION THERE IS A DESIRE TO PROMOTE COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT IN THE LAW ENFORCEMENT AND TO MOTIVATE THE PUBLIC TO COOPERATE WITH POLICE WITH REWARDS FOR SUCH INVOLVEMENT.
