ISLAND PATHWAYS CONTINUES TO PROVIDES SAFE OFF-ROAD ROUTES FOR PEDESTRIANS CYCLISTS AND THOSE USING MOBILITY SCOOTERS. WE ARE CURRENTLY PREPARING FOR ANOTHER CONNECTING PATHWAY PROJECT WHICH WILL BE FUNDED BY DONATIONS AND GRANTS. THE CYCLE SALT SPRING COMMITTEE PROVIDES HELMET FITTING BIKE SKILLS PROGRAMS AND GO BY BIKE EVENTS FUNDED BY GRANTS AND COMMUNITY SERVICE CLUBS. SSTN - Salish Sea Trail Network Working group has moved out of the Cycle Salt Spring committee to it's own committee as our work on the the working group with the 3 levels of government and other NGOs has increased and we are now moving forward with preliminary design work for separated multi use trails on salt spring island.
