WE ARE ALSO BEGINNING TO WORK WITH THE COMMUNITY FOOD BANK TO OFFER A MEAL PROGRAM FOR YOUTH THAT DO NOT RECEIVE CONSISTENT MEALS THROUGHTOUT THE DAY. THIS INVOLVES PREPPING FRESH PRODUCE TO PROVIDE HEALTHY SNACKS AFTER SCHOOL AND CREATING TAKE-HOME PACKAGES FOR THOSE IN NEED OF SOMETHING MORE SUBSTANTIAL. BY LISTENING CAREFULLY TO THE YOUTH THAT ATTEND OUR CENTRE DEVELOPING CONNECTIONS WITH THEM AND FOCUSING ON ASKING THE RIGHT QUESTIONS WE ARE ABLE TO UNDERSTAND THE TYPES OF PROGRAMS THAT ARE NEEDED IN THE COMMUNITY.
