New programs
We hosted a seminar based on 'Living a soulful life: embracing spirituality in everyday moments'. Our panelists included Shaikh Arif Abdul Hussain Dr. Zubina Mawji Maheen Sayal and Dr. Hussein Khimjee and a meditation was guided by Rukaiya Sulemanji. Throughout the Muharram programming we also had active participation from young children in assisting with managing the reception desk reciting Quran and creating and distributing snack and activity packages for other young children. Youth Appreciation: An appreciation event was held with the youth to thank them for their active participation in the OIL Community and foster a deeper sense of community amongst the youth.
