WE FUND RAISE TO FINANCIALLY SUPPORT MILO LIBRARY BY DONATING FUNDS FOR MATERIALS SUPPLIES PROGRAMS COMPUTERS FURNITURE AND SHELVING. WE ALSO HAVE DONATIONS TO MILO LIBRARY OF NON CASH GIFTS (MOSTLY BOOKS) THAT ARE DONATED TO US. ONLY VERY FEW AND EXCELLENT CONDITION ITEMS ARE RECEIPTED. WE LEASE A COMPUTER ARCHIVES ROMM IN MILO LIBRARY TO PROPERLY STORE DOCUMENT RECORDS PHOTOGRAPHS MAPS ETC. IMPORTANT TO OUR LOCAL HISTORY. New programs
WE HAVE RENTED THE MILO COMMUNITY HALL AND HOSTED 'LOCALLY HISTORY NIGHT' IN 2024 AND 2025 WHICH HAS BEEN A TREMENDOUS SUCCESS. WE WERE ALSO ABLE TO PROVIDE A HISTORICAL DISPLAY FOR THE HAMLET OF QUEENSTOWN CENTENNIAL IN THE QUEENSTOWN COMMUNITY HALL WHICH WAS A RARE OCCASION WITH A BIG IMPACT FOR ATTENDEES FROM OUR VOLUNTEERS. OUR COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENTS HAS NOW EXTENDED TO FUNDRAISING BY DEVELOPING A COMMUNITY COOKBOOK.
