Ongoing programs

The Anna Templeton Centre for Craft Art & Design (ATC) is dedicated to advancing fine craft in the province. It offers a wide range of adult and youth evening classes and weekend workshops in the areas of drawing embroidery painting quilting rug hooking sewing stained glass and much more. The Anna Templeton Centre for Craft Art & Design (ATC) is dedicated to advancing fine craft in the province. It offers a wide range of adult and youth evening classes and weekend workshops in the areas of drawing embroidery painting quilting rug hooking sewing stained glass and much more. Each week there are different options for various classes for different age groups and skill levels. In art and craft cartooning drawing and sewing. The remainder of the year is filled with special events and lecture presentations open to the public and craft enthusiasts. The ATC is a charity organization that is run by a volunteer board of directors that helps in the development of craft programs that reach all age groups.

New programs

In FY2024 the Anna Templeton Centre expanded their mentorship and support programs offered through the Quidi Vidi Village Artisan Studios location to increase outreach and programs for home based emerging and micro entrepreneurs. Programming included online professional development courses a secure customer pick up service and a first time exhibition program. Programming at the Duckworth street location is continuing to rebound from the pandemic with machine sewing classes reintroduced to the schedule along with an increase in youth classes.
