Ongoing programs
Tours of Beautiful Joe Park; Sales of memorial plaques mounted in a kiosk in the park; 'Barkout' newsletter; Facebook and Instagram presence; Pooch Pool Party; Fundraising to support construction of a footbridge across the Big head River to allow safer access to the park.
New programs
The year 2024 was Meaford's 150th anniversary. We participated in many of the events including: Meaford 150 Kick-off (March 10) Royal Trees Dedication at Beautiful Joe Park (May 18) Meaford 150th Celebration - (June 15) Canada Day (July 1) Meaford Pet Expo (July 20) Summerfest (August 4) Beautiful Joe Annual Pooch Pool Party (Sept 1) Christmas on the Bay (Nov 28 - Dec 1) Kinsmen Santa Parade We also established a campaign to attract 150 donors for Meaford's 150th anniversary. This goal was exceeded.
