Family Network for Deaf Children (FNDC) is an ASL focused parent run non-profit charitable organization supporting families with deaf and hard of hearing children. We offer workshops newsletters (published 3-4x’s per year) information bulletins and a website (www.fndc.ca) supporting and providing information to parents of deaf and hard-of-hearing children their communities (school districts extended families and professionals). Family Network for Deaf Children (FNDC) is an ASL focused parent run non-profit charitable organization supporting families with deaf and hard of hearing children. We offer workshops newsletters (published 3-4x’s per year) information bulletins and a website (www.fndc.ca) supporting and providing information to parents of deaf and hard-of-hearing children their communities (school districts extended families and professionals). Deaf Youth Today (DYT) is FNDC’s summer social/recreational program and is committed to providing language-rich social/recreational experiences and leadership opportunities for deaf and hard of hearing children/youth in British Columbia. DYT with financial support from Canada Summer Jobs hires deaf youth as DYT leaders for their summer programs.

Vancouver Foundation (VF Project) This project focusses on developing and implementing longer-term resiliency plans as well as Diversity Equity Inclusion and Access. Skills Shortage Project This project focusses on the current skills shortages of professionals working with deaf & hard of hearing children and youth (Interpreters/Intervenors Teachers of the Deaf Early Childhood Educators ASL Teachers).
