WE HAVE AN ANNUAL CEMETERY DAY WHERE VOLUNTEERS GATHER TO DO MAINTENANCE WORK SUCH AS TRIM AROUND HEADSTONES WASH HEADSTONES SWEEP GRASS OFF OF GRAVES HAUL AWAY EXTRA DIRT FROM NEW GRAVESITES AND FILL IN SUNKEN GRAVES.
New programs
THAT IS FOLLOWED BY AN ANNUAL MEETING WHERE REPORTS ARE GIVEN AND NEW EXTENSION OFFICERS INSTALLED IF NEEDED. IN THE FALL VOLUNTEERS PUT UP MARKERS OF CEMETERY TO MARK PATHS FOR SNOW REMOVAL. THIS IS IN ADDITION TO A PART TIME AREA BY SESONAL EMPLOYEE WHOSE MAIN ACTIVITY IS CUTTING GRASS. DUE TO THE CLEANING AGING VOLUNTEERS WE CONTRACT HEDGE TRIMMING OUT TO SOMEONE TREES AND WHO HAS THE PROPER EQUIPMENT FOR IT. ESTABLISHING NEW GRASS.
