FAMILY AND FRIENDS CAREGIVER SUPPORT PROGRAMS FOCUSES ON SUPPORTING FAMILY AND FRIENDS WHO PROVIDE UNPAID CARE FOR OLDER ADULTS LIVING IN THE COMMUNITY/AT HOME WITH COMPLEX NEEDS. FRIENDLY VISITING- VOLUNTEERS DO WEEKLY PHONE CHECK-INS AND VISITS WITH THEIR MATCHED OLDER ADULT.S. THE LIFEBOX PROGRAM DISTRIBUTED LIFEBOXES TO INDIVIDUALS WHO WANTED TO START THEIR ADVANCE CARE PLANNING. THE INFORMATION RESOURCE AND FORM FILLING OFFICE HELPS OLDER ADULTS AND LOW INCOME TO ACCESS THE INFORMATION AND RESOURCES NEEDED TO SUSTAIN THEIR WELL-BEING. OUR VOLUNTEERS WERE BUSY THIS TAX SEASON FILLING TAXES AND GOVERNMENT FORMS. TECH SAAVY SENIORS LAUNCHED TO HELP OLDER ADULTS LEARN ABOUT TABLETS IPADS SMARTPHONES COMPUTERS AND SOME SECUIRTY ON THEIR DEVICES. SOCIAL CAFE & CRAFTS AND CHATS PROVIDE 2 WEEKLY SOCIAL EVENTS WHERE INDIVIDUALS CAN MEET OTHERS HAVE REFRESHMENTS PARTICIPATE IN ACTIVITIES/CRAFTS AND FIND OUT ABOUT OTHER RESOURCES. THE BOOK BAGS PROGRAM PROVIDED FREE BOOKS PUZZLES AND MAGAZINES ONCE A MONTH TO ISOLATED OLDER ADULTS. THERE ARE 10 VOLUNTEERS PROVIDING THIS SERVICE TO 50 ISOLATED SENIORS. IT PROVIDES A CONNECTION TO THE COMMUNITY AND RESOURCES WHEN NEEDED TO ENHANCE THE LIVES OF OLDER ADULTS.
