1. The Society is supporting student-centered inquiry-based collaborative and non-oppressive education by dispersing donations providing volunteers for schools and providing resources for start-ups. 2. The Society is providing information about this education model through information sessions regular talks and the website. 3. The Society is offering free consultations to groups in the process of starting up schools and programs which follow this education model. 4. The Society is operating a theatre arts program making it possible for elementary and high school aged children to study and experience all aspects of musical theatre. We are supporting the program by: a) providing at cost access to a theatre stage where students can rehearse as well as present plays and musicals and b) hiring as contractors people experienced in the theatre arts to act as teachers and program facilitators. 5. There are very few non-academic programs available to enrich the education of home-learning groups who take part in the BC Ministry of Education Distributed Learning/Online Learning (DL/OL) programs. The Society is supporting the enrichment of their education by making the theatre arts program available to them.
