Ongoing programs
As Trustee of the Wildwood Trust Wildwood is maintained as per an Ecoforestry Management Plan. The Society reached 1 400 individuals via education tours school programs webinar presentations and public tours offered at Wildwood. An upgraded homestead is available as a small education center and venue for education programs workshops special events forest retreats and conservation accommodation. The Education Team provided accessible outdoor environmental programs and completed the building of the 3 - season Outdoor Learning Center. The Society reached 1 400 individuals via education tours school programs webinar presentations and public tours offered at Wildwood. An upgraded homestead is available as a small education center and venue for education programs workshops special events forest retreats and conservation accommodation. The Education Team provided accessible outdoor environmental programs and completed the building of the 3 - season Outdoor Learning Center. A Master Plan is being developed for the future of the Wildwood property. A major project was the purchase of 6 acres of old-growth coastal Douglas Fir. Fundraising for the acquisition of 21 acres of coastal Douglas fir ecosystem adjacent to Wildwood's current 83 acres is underway.
