BRAZIL Ambrosina Incubator for Empowerment of Young Women of Pontal da Barra Incubator for the Empowerment of Young Women of Pontal da Barra near Maceio aims to create a welcoming space for the human development of girls. School of Family Agriculture at Antônio Gonçalves State of Bahia This project with the school provides funds to implement an Agroforestry System at the School of Family Agriculture (EFA) to increase ecosystem resilience mitigating the impacts of climate change at the school. GROTA DA ALEGRIA This project operates 2 classrooms for children to reinforce and complement their education. It builds an education model that promotes the social cultural and environmental aspects of Grota de Alegria children. EL SALVADOR Rainbow-CIS Scholarship Program III This project provides funds to our international Partner the Center for Friendship and Exchange (CIS) for scholarships for 17-20 students to provide financial assistance to transport by boat. GHANA Health Nutrition and Sanitation at La’angum Primary School This project in Bumboazio village in northern Ghana provides support for about 300 children at the school with the funds to: Purchase and transport food mainly rice gari (cassava grits) dried fish oil and other ingredients for school lunches Bantambaari Primary School This project will provide the funds necessary for the materials and labour to construct a two-classroom school a storeroom and a teacher’s office in Bantambaari in northern Ghana and purchase furniture BIOGAS PROJECT This project aims to develop a renewable resource that would provide fuel to the school kitchen for cooking meals. Future use could introduce fuel for electricity production to provide power for the school. This is dependant on the gas production levels from the Biogas plant. KALIKA PRIMARY SCHOOL Community of Danushwara Village was one of the most affected in Nepal by the earthquakes in 2015 extensive damage to all homes the school and people’s livelihoods. The community constructed a Temporary Learning Center post-earthquake to allow their children to continue schooling activities ARUKHARKA HEALTH CARE CENTRE Arukharka is a small village that lies a distance of 4 hours trekking east of Jibajibe in northern Nepal. It is of 100% Tibetan/Tamang culture with the families emigrating from the Tibetan border. This project commenced March 1 2020 and is providing the funds to build the Arukharka Health

INDONESIA Reducing Avoidable Blindness East Java This project provides professional Eye Health Care services to low income people in East Java Indonesia who cannot afford professional eye care serves. Collaborating with the John Fawcett Foundation this project is providing: • transport for JFF team - fuel and ferry charges (2 mobile operating theatre buses) • Food allowance for JFF team • Treating approximately 200 people with eye infections • Restoring sight to approximately 150 people with eye glasses or cataract surgery • PPE (Covid) for surgical and screening team antigen swab and sterilization equipment. JAMAICA Mt Moriah School Fencing This project will provide fencing around the school to provide security and safety for the students. It will also prevent unauthorized use of the land as a opportunistic vehicle repair site. Currently there are dogs goats and pigs running loose on the property defecating randomly and at some times are aggressive towards the children. The fence will restrict those activities and encourage play on the property without fear of interference by animals and random vehicles and abandoned car pieces and hazardous vehicle fluid waste. GHANA Nwodua Library This project will build a community library to serve the many villages located in the area. The library will foster and encourage development of reading skills providing new materials and resources not previously available to students and adults alike. This will also encourage visions of higher education for students and encourage them to develop lifelong love for reading.
