COMMUNITY-BASED METORING PROGRAM: ADULTS IN NORTH DURHAM ARE MATCHED WIT A CHILD AGED 6-16 OF THE SAME GENDER. THIS ADULT (BIG) PROVIDES SUPPORT TO THE CHILD (LITTLE) AS THE CHILD NAVIGATES CHALLENGES TO BECOMING A HEALTHY ADULT. THIS PROGRAM OFFERS CHILDREN AND YOUTH TO CONNECT WITH AN ADULT TO SHARE THE DIFFERENT EXPREIENCES IN GROWING UP TOGETHER. OUR MATCHES MEET WITHIN THE COMMUNITY BETWEEN 2-4 HOURS PER WEEK.
