TO THIS END THE EBSNS CONTINUES TO PUBLISH ITS ANNUAL NEWSLETTER AND TO HOLD READING EVENTS IN GREAT VILLAGE NS. IN CONJUNCTION WITH ITS ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING HELD IN JUNE WHICH IS OPEN TO THE EBSNS MEMBERSHIP AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC. THE SOCIETY CONDUCTED A SMALL FUND-RAISER FOR ITS 30TH ANNIVERSARY EVENTS-THE PRIZE A PAINTING OF THE BISHOP HOUSE BY NOVA SCOTIA ARTIST SUSAN TOOKE. THE DRAW WAS HELD AT THE END OF THE AGM AND THE WINNER WAS APRIL SHARPE.
