Deliver activities/programs within the Corner Brook Deer Lake and Bay of Islands area that focus on mental health promotion substance use prevention mental illness awareness and life promotion/suicide prevention (workshops awareness events life-skills programs etc.) Organize activities during various national health promotion campaigns. Deliver various trainings to the community. Offer suicide prevention & awareness activity grants to community groups in Western region. Provide housing support services to people with complex needs. Own & operate 14 supportive housing units for persons with mental illness in Corner Brook and Pasadena. Operate a 3-bedroom emergency shelter for persons of any gender who are homeless.
