We also provide job referrals to students who complete their 40 hours community service with us. • Offer volunteer work to newcomers along with referrals to help them gain Canadian work experience enabling them to obtain job opportunities in Canada. • Provide community space rentals to the city and the neighbourhood. • Provide lunch and afternoon activities or workshops through our monthly Community Sunday program (i.e. heart and stroke workshop community safety workshop stress management workshop). • Run and host seasonal community markets (i.e. Christmas Market Valentine's Day Market etc.) with local vendors and makers • Provide art and cultural events such as movie nights or art workshops on a seasonal basis. • Host seasonal community outings for those in need of connection and help people form new relationships with those in the community (i.e. bowling billiards breakfast lunch BBQ days beach days). • Operate seasonal community clean up events to promote teamwork and teach the skills to properly maintain and care for our environment. • Operate seasonal community gardening events to promote the benefits of attending our premises and its green space environment.
