Ongoing programs

The Burnaby Children's Centres Society provides Burnaby-based self sustaining range of inclusive quality group child care for children that are 3 months to 5 years of age. Currently they operate two daycare facilities owned by the City of Burnaby serving over 90 children. The centres offer an important service to families living and working in and around the Burnaby community. The Burnaby Children's Centres Society provides Burnaby-based self sustaining range of inclusive quality group child care for children that are 3 months to 5 years of age. Currently they operate two daycare facilities owned by the City of Burnaby serving over 90 children. The centres offer an important service to families living and working in and around the Burnaby community. The Society works collaboratively with the community; encourages meaningful parent involvement and endeavors to provide child care programs which reflect both family & community values and needs. Children in their care are supported by our well qualified staffs that are licensed have completed their education in Early Childhood Education Infant Toddler and First Aid. In addition their programs host practicum students working on their post basic E.C.E. (Early Childhood Education) and I.T. (Infant Toddler) from lower mainland colleges. Being sensitive to each child's stage of development we offer the following programs: Infant - 8 licensed spots Toddler Programs - 24 licensed spots and Age 3-5 Programs - 50 licensed spots.
