The Manitoba Arts Network provides educational programs and services designated to foster arts and culture in rural and northern Manitoba. Performing Arts Program coordinates tours for artists to perform throughout Manitoba. Visual Arts Program curates and tours exhibitions to rural and northern Manitoba communities; provide traning and mentorship programs for emerging artists from all regions of Manitoba. Annual Conference and Showcase provide an opportunity for all Manitobans who are affliated with community arts organizations in their regions to network attend development workshops preview performing visual and literacy artists to assist in the development of cultural prgramming to bring to their communities in the coming year Concert in Care-pairs professional musicians with long-term care homes in rural and northern communities across Manitoba. Touring Exhibition Program -The Manitoba Arts Network sends 4-5 high-quality exhibitions to over 20 communities in Manitoba NW Ontario and North Dakota. Manitoba Rural and Northern Juried Art Show (MRNJAS) - This annual exhibition features award-winning artworks in a variety of media by over 50 rural and northern Manitoba artists from the regional juried arts shows held across Manitoba each year. The Rural Art Mentorship Program (RAMP) - This four-weekend mentorship program with studio visits for up to 5 artists is led by a professional mentor and culminates in an exhibition. RBC Emerging Artist Mentorship & Showcase – emerging musicians are paired with professionals to learn about showcasing & touring culminating in a live showcase opportunity.
