Ongoing programs

artsvest is Business / Arts’ signature mentorship and training program with a strong history and demonstrated success in building the capacity of Canada’s cultural sector. A free virtual training and mentorship program available to organizations from anywhere across the country artsvest is focused on building the capacity of small to mid-sized arts culture and heritage organizations particularly those serving rural and equity-seeking communities. artsvest is Business / Arts’ signature mentorship and training program with a strong history and demonstrated success in building the capacity of Canada’s cultural sector. A free virtual training and mentorship program available to organizations from anywhere across the country artsvest is focused on building the capacity of small to mid-sized arts culture and heritage organizations particularly those serving rural and equity-seeking communities. An additional regional component (artsvest Regional) is available in select communities where there is a local funding partner. Artsvest Regional provides more focused sponsorship training along with matching fund incentives. The Canadian Arts Summit hosted annually in partnership with the Banff Centre brings Canada's top performing and visual arts organizations together to discuss key issues facing the cultural sector. The Business / Arts Speaker Series invites industry leaders from across the business and arts sectors to share advice insights and best practices. Offered as an inclusive space for the exchange of innovative ideas the Speaker Series addresses a range of topics related to partnerships fundraising and development programming digital engagement and more. The Arts Response Tracking Survey (ARTS) is a partnership project between Business / Arts the National Arts Centre and Nanos Research. Since its launch in May 2020 ARTS has conducted quarterly surveys of over 1000 Canadian culture-goers providing valuable insights into audience behaviours and attitudes towards participating in indoor and outdoor arts and culture activities.
