Saskatoon Brass Band Inc. (SBB) operates two brass bands (Saskatoon Brass band and Bridge City Brass Band). Each band operates under the leadership of of a bandmaster. We aim to advance education by providing classes and workshops on brass band music to the public. Furthermore we look to advance the public's appreciation of the arts by providing high-quality public performances via several free concerts each year at venues such as: outdoor stages in the park High Schools Seniors homes and churches and through such means allowing qualified artists to perform their work. Saskatoon Brass Band Inc. (SBB) operates two brass bands (Saskatoon Brass band and Bridge City Brass Band). Each band operates under the leadership of of a bandmaster. We aim to advance education by providing classes and workshops on brass band music to the public. Furthermore we look to advance the public's appreciation of the arts by providing high-quality public performances via several free concerts each year at venues such as: outdoor stages in the park High Schools Seniors homes and churches and through such means allowing qualified artists to perform their work. SBB also runs a weeklong summer workshop (Prairie Music Residency). The SBB also receives and maintains a fund for schlorarships that are applied to and implemented by qualified donees of the Saskatoon Music Festival. Our primary goal is to provide music education to the general public while at the same time providing a platform to play and experience British brass band music.
