Ongoing programs

Entertainment and recreation such as card playing quilting crafts and art & computer classes; Chicken dinners for fund raising purposes and social outing. Our monthly newsletter is appreciated by area residents as well as former Merlin citizens. Other community group use facilities at no cost; family Christmas parties wedding and baby showers rent our building. We are a member of the C-K Senior Advisory Committee sharing ideas between 11 senior clubs throughout the municipality. We are on the C-K Senior Games Committee and host the semi annual euchre tournaments. organize a town-wide yard Show more

We are on the C-K Senior Games Committee and host the semi annual euchre tournaments. organize a town-wide yard sale; bi-monthly potluck dinners for members and friends invite speakers from various organization to make presentations- Crime Stoppers Alzheimer Society etc. A 15-20 member group is using our facility to come together to machine quilt and discuss their ongoing personal quilting projects and to learn from each other.

2024 was the 50th anniversary of our club and members came up with ideas to recognize and celebrate through the year.
