Ongoing programs
United Way Oxford the largest non-government funder of social services in Oxford County works to strengthen our community through mobilization of collective action to create measurable cumulative lasting change that improves lives and builds a healthy resilient community. Our volunteers and staff identify local needs/gaps and invest to ensure vital supports are available; we participate at community tables leverage funding and connections build community capacity and understanding of social issues and help strengthen the non-profit sector. Additionally we deliver social services directly through a number of our own programs such as Oxford Supplies4Students Tampon Tuesday Day of Caring training events and more. Combined our efforts are designed to help us achieve our vision of a caring inclusive and resilient Oxford community where everyone lives with dignity belonging opportunity and hope.
