New programs
AT THIS TIME WE ARE STAYING WITH THE PROGRAMS ITEMIZED ABOVE AS OUR MEMBERSHIP IS AGING; WE ARE HOWEVER ATTEMPTING TO BRING IN YOUNGER FOLK. ONE NEW METHOD WE PROPOSE TRYING IS BY USING ZOOM FACILITIES WHICH WE BELIEVE WILL INTEREST YOUNGER MEMBERS AND AS WELL WILL ALLOW FOLKS WHO ARE TIED UP IN THEIR HOMES (FOR ONE REASON OR ANOTHER) TO ATTEND THE MEETINGS. ALSO USING ZOOM WILL ENABLE ATTENDANCE DURING THE WINTER MONTHS.

THE SOCIETY CONTINUES TO BRING IN TO OUR GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETINGS WHICH ARE HELD 5 TIMES A YEAR- IN SEPTEMBER NOVEMBER JANUARY MARCH AND MAY. WE BRING IN SPECIAL SPEAKERS TO MAKE PRESENTATIONS ON ITEMS WE BELIEVE TO BE OF HISTORICAL INTEREST. WE ARE ALMOST COMPLETED VIDEOTAPING LOCAL RANCHERS AND FARMERS IN THIS AREA. OVER THE PAST YEAR WE HAVE SUPPORTED LOCAL AND AREA MUSEUMS WITH MUCH NEEDED CAPITAL GRANTS.
