Ongoing programs
PROVISION OF ADULT MUSIC EDUCATION AND PERFORMANCE FOR MEMBERS COVERING ALL LEVELS OF MUSICAL ABILITY. REGULAR PROGRAMMING INCLUDES 6 CONCERT BANDS 5 JAZZ BANDS 4 CHOIRS AND 1 STRING ENSEMBLE WITH REHEARSALS CLINICS AND REHEARSALS LEAD BY QUALIFIED INSTRUCTORS.
New programs
In the 2023-24 season Westwinds added a young adult choir an ensemble focused on singers exiting high school music programs or returning to music shortly after high school. We also added an intermediate string ensemble for members who graduate from our beginner string ensemble.
