COASTAL SOUND MUSIC PROVIDES CHORAL MUSIC EDUCATION TO CHILDREN YOUTH AND ADULTS IN BC (COQUITLAM PORT COQUITLAM PORT MOODY BURNABY NEW WESTMINSTER NORTH VANCOUVER AND MAPLE RIDGE). WE HAD 214 MEMBERS IN THE 2023-24 SEASON COMPARED TO 197 IN THE PREVIOUS SEASON. WE CONTINUE TO GROW OUR MEMBERSHIP SINCE THE PANDEMIC. WE CONTINUE TO RELY ON OUR VOLUNTEER BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND ARTISTIC TEAM TO PROVIDE GUIDANCE ON PROGRAMMING AND OPERATIONS. New programs

IN APRIL 2024 WE RAN A 8 WEEK PILOT PROJECT FOR A NEW COASTAL SOUND CHAMBER CHOIR – AUDITIONED ADULT CHOIR. IT WAS VERY SUCCESSFUL AND ARE NOW RUNNING THIS CHOIR FULL TIME IN THE 2024-25 SEASON. THIS WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL 3 CONCERTS IN OUR 2024-25 SEASON.
