We provide permanent homes with additional supports in Halifax – Kjipuktuk. Supported Housing - Private homes inside a community with additional networks of support on site. Our community has one site in Halifax and one in Dartmouth. They are home to a total of 63 folks. Housing Solutions - Our staff is experienced in connecting unhoused or precariously housed folks to housing resources. You do not need to be a resident of Out of the Cold to access resources. Our dedicated team is on the ground every day providing crisis intervention practical assistance and compassionate companionship to help those struggling with the challenges of homelessness. We offer free showers at both locations. We provide towels and personal care items.
