Founded in 2015 Mississauga Summer Chorale (o/a Modern Sound Collective) unites young people from the Mississauga area with a passion for choral excellence. We pride ourselves in our efforts to connect the youth community in Mississauga and its surrounding communities through music as well as supporting the next generation of choral music leaders. We aim to foster valuable skills and professional development for the future leaders of the Canadian choral music community by supporting talented local singers composers and conductors. Founded in 2015 Mississauga Summer Chorale (o/a Modern Sound Collective) unites young people from the Mississauga area with a passion for choral excellence. We pride ourselves in our efforts to connect the youth community in Mississauga and its surrounding communities through music as well as supporting the next generation of choral music leaders. We aim to foster valuable skills and professional development for the future leaders of the Canadian choral music community by supporting talented local singers composers and conductors. What began as a small group of singers sharing their appreciation of choral music within our local community has grown into five choirs operating under the overall MSC banner.
