THEY WERE THREE-HOUR A SESSIONS THAT INVOLVED A GUIDED HIKE AND AN ENDING DISCUSSION. THE SESSIONS FOCUSED ON GAINING AN APPRECIATION OF NATURE AND THE MEDICINAL PLANTS OFFERED IN NATURE. THE WALKS WERE A GREAT SUCCESS WITH VERY POSITIVE REVIEWS FROM PARTICIPANTS. THE WALKS WERE LED BY .... ... IS AN OBJIBWAY ELDER OF ALDERVILLE FIRST NATION AND AN INTERNATIONALLY RECOGNIZED ARTIST AND ECOLOGIST. HE HAS A DEGREE IN WILDLIFE BIOLOGY AND EXPTENSIVE EXPERIENCE INCLUDING BEING THE RESEARCH COORDINATOR FOR THE BLACK OAK SAVANNA IN ALDERVILLE.
