As a tax exempt non profit organization dedicated to youth empowerment leadership development and workforce readiness we bridge gaps for underrepresented communities. This vital initiative aligns with ESDC and our shared commitment to empowering minorities particularly Black Indigenous and other racialized youth. Through internship and job readiness programs which are designed to provide students with opportunities to gain work work experience develop skills as they prepare to enter an ever-changing workforce. Youth empowerment and internship job readiness programs during the summer which provide students/trainees with the opportunity to gain knowledge develop skills and work habits that increase the potential for future employment success. Princen Foundation currently providing support services financial aid gift cards for groceries and food aid to approximately 75 000 families. Many low families were hit hardest by the current cost of living and high food prices as savings and income dwindled. By providing immediate financial support for hunger relief food security and to purchase food gift cards for groceries and other essential supplies for minorities and low income families because of lack of access and also experiencing interrupted support services in the community. Helping to provide resources to purchase food gift cards for groceries clothing and footwear to deliver other essential supplies for children & families especially vulnerable seniors to ensure the continuity of essential services for the at risk children families and seniors and those most affected by the current situation. When women are empowered it allows them to have more control over their own career. In response to the COVID19 pandemic Princen Sammy Foundation has provided an emergency small relief fund of $250 for an average family of five for more than 50 000 children families & seniors to deliver nutritious food and empower families to make healthier choices.
