OPEN SCHOOL BC CONTINUES TO MONITOR AND MAINTAIN THE WEB SITE THAT IS NOW AVAILABLE TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC. PHOTOGRAPHIC AND WRITTEN MATERIAL CONTINUE TO BE ACCEPTED FOR THE CURRENT GBREAT WEBSITE. CONSULTATIONS CONTINUE WITH LOCAL FIRST NATIONS TO ENSURE THAT THE INFORMATION INCLUDED ON THE GBREAT WEBSITE IS CULTURALLY APPROPRIATE AND AS ACCURATE MEANINGFUL AND USEFUL AS POSSIBLE.

CONSIDERATION WILL BE GIVEN TO OTHER WAYS THE GBREAT CAN INCREASE THE GENERAL PUBLIC'S AWARENESS OF THE GREAT BEAR RAINFOREST INCLUDING THE MARINE AREAS ADJACENT TO THE GREAT BEAR RAINFOREST. CONSIDERATIONS WILL BE GIVEN TO WAYS IN WHICH THE EXISTENCE OF THE WEBSITE CAN BE MADE MORE WIDELY KNOWN. FURTHER ATTEMPTS WILL BE MADE TO RECRUIT A REPLACEMENT ON THE ADVISORY BOARD TO REPRESENT COASTAL FIRST NATIONS.
