Ongoing programs
We continued to provide shelter clothing food and educational support for children living in poverty in Kenya. Children continued to access resources and mentorship support to enable them to succeed and excel in their education. Families of the children and younger siblings were also supported with food baskets of essential supplies as access to food in some areas was scarce. Throughout the year we continued to provide counselling and support to the children and their families. Community Hubs expanded to include support for children in schools and community centres. A short term stay crisis centre facility was also added to enable children in crisis or danger to have a safe place to receive counselling food education and life skills training while crisis is resolved. A small Rebuild Hope office unit was established to host meetings with children parents and to support school and food needs.
