WE CONTINUE TO MOUNT UP TO 12 EXHIBITS ANNUALLY. THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE SEASON WAS THE TRUTH AND RECONCILIATION EXHIBITS WITH STRADDLED THE NATIONAL DAY FOR TRUTH AND RECONCILIATION. THE 2 EXHIBITS DREW OPENING-NIGHT CROWDS OVER 400 VISITORS THROUGHOUT THE 2 EXHIBITIONS INCLUDING STUDENT VISITS INTEGRAL TO OUR EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH PROGRAM. OTHER EXHIBITS INCLUDED THE ANNUAL JURIED STUDENT SHOW AS WELL AS OUR 41ST ANNUAL JURIED EXHIBITION WITH AN ENTRY OF 98 ACCEPTED ARTWORKS BY 63 ARTISTS. THE ART GALLERY OF BANCROFT WAS SUCCESSFUL IN OBTAINING A PRESENTER’S GRANT WHICH WILL FUND 2 INDIVIDUAL RESIDENCIES FOR EMERGING ARTISTS FROM UNDERREPRESENTED COMMUNITIES ON THE THEME OF FINDING COMMUNITY. IN 2026 THE TWO ARTIST WIL HAE A JOINT EXHIBITION OF WORK CREATED DURING AND / OR STREAMING FROM THEIR MONTH AS ARTIST-IN-RESIDENCE. THESE TWO RESIDENCES WILL BE AN INTEGRAL PART OF OUR 2025-26 EXHIBITION CYCLE AND OUR EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH
