NHCF ALONG WITH 4 OTHER LOCAL COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS IN BRITISH COLUMBIA: NEPAL CULTURAL SOCIETY OF BC (NCSBC) HINDU BUDDHIST FOUNDATION OF CANADA CANADA-NEPAL FRIENDSHIP AND CULTURAL SOCIETY (CANFACS) AND NEPAL CANADIAN NEPALI CANADIAN WOMEN'S SOCIETY OF BC (NCWSBC) WORKED TOGETHER TO RAISE FUNDS FOR SUPPORT OF EARTHQUAKE VICTIMS OF JAJARKOT.

SURREY ADOPT A STREET PROGRAM: NHCF HAS ENROLLED WITH CITY OF SURREY'S ADOPT A STREET PROGRAM TO MAKE ADDITIONAL IMPACT TO THE LOCAL COMMUNITIES WHERE OUR MEMBERS LIVE AND WORK. AS PART OF THIS PROGRAM NHCF VOLUNTEERS ARE ENGAGED SEVERAL TIMES PER YEAR IN CLEANING AND RUBBISH REMOVAL ACTIVITIES OF THE DESIGNATED STREET SECTION. NHCF'S AIM IS TO INSPIRE MORE VOLUNTEERS TO JOIN OUR INITIATIVE AND ALSO BE ABLE TO ADOPT MORE STREETS IN THE FUTURE.
